paper tower



                                    We must build up our soft skills as under graduates. So we have to improve our communication skills, creativity and planning.

                            Also we have to know how to respect other ideas. So we must do group works for improve those skills.

                          We got a opportunity to improve our those skills last 10th of Monday in our PPD session. We had to build a tallest paper tower with creativeness.

               We got few items and limited time to build this paper tower.

Also we devided to three groups.

1st group;
                 Rajitha

                 Sharmila
                 Heshani
                 Sahani
                 Kumuditha
                 Chamod
              
2nd group;

                 Keshara
                 Aashiq
                 Shehara
                 Anura
                 Atheesh
                 Sudesana
                 Hirushka
                 Tedy

3rd group;

                 Sithara
                 Ramakrishnan
                 Sivakajan
                 Prashanth
                 Sineth
                 Deshanjalee
                 Prarthana
                 Divya

               1st group's tower was better than other two groups. Because, that was stable and creative than others.

                                 I learnt many things during this activity. I tried to communicate with my group members in English. So I could improve my speaking skills. Also we planned to design a tallest tower. We could improve our thinking skills in that. Also there were many ideas of every members. Then we discussed and chose a best idea and did it. I think we could listen to others and respect other ideas.



                                 Finally, we had a very nice experience and learnt more. Paper tower session is the best group activity which I did in my university life.

Normally I do not get selfies. Because, I do not like take photos. Why I feel like that.I recognize it this PPD session. Can you guess how I recognize it from PPD session. Our last PPD session about self reflection.                                     What is self reflection?                                    Is it a simple thing?                                           Self Expertise Every human has a expertise of at least one field.Someone has several expertise in several areas.I am expert of watching television. I can watch any type of movies like horror,comedy, Sinhala , Tamil, English.  We were separated for four groups and there were five and six members for each group.Then we have to introduce a product that combine three expertise areas in one group.Our team decided to combine hand made things,reading and ridding motor bikes.We introduced a eye glass cover.But it was not really a good combination of those three expertise areas. Last PPD session Sarasi madam demonstrated us how to write a CV. First we should know why we want a CV. CV is represent our works and qualifications. We are in competitive world. So everyone try to pass others. So CV is a main tool use for compete with others. If it is a good CV then we may get opportunity. Therefore CV is a main bullet point of our profession. First we must introduce our selves. That means we must include our name, address, available contact number and our photo. There are some important points when we include a photo. If you do not like to insert a photo to CV it is not a big deal. But if you add one it can represent your personality before you meet. Also we have to choose correct type of photo. Because, if use normal selfie, fancy photos it represent bad view of you. It is not professional. First We should start to market our selves using this photo. Then we can include our qualifications.
